In this guide, we explain whether you can arrest multiple suspects in The Precinct at the same time and how to do it.

In The Precinct, you’ll need to patrol the streets of Averno City, where crimes are rampant. During each of your shifts, you will run into multiple offenders that you’ll have to arrest and bring in safely to the Police Station.
However, there will be some instances where two or more suspects are involved in the same incident. In these cases, it will be integral for you to arrest all of the suspects involved to earn the maximum XP. So, the game does allow you to arrest multiple people at once.
Sooner or later, you’ll have to arrest multiple suspects in The Precinct at the same time. In the following guide, we explore how you can do this by the book.
How To Arrest Multiple Suspects in The Precinct at the Same Time

Arresting multiple suspects can be a challenge because you don’t know how each of them will react when you make your presence known. While some suspects readily give up and accept their arrest without violence, others might not be so easy to handle. Some suspects will try to escape, while others might simply turn around and choose to attack you.
So, to arrest more than one suspect at once, you’ll need to first focus on restraining each of them. These are the situations where you need to rely on the support that is available to you. For instance, you can call in Helicopters to keep an eye on the location of fleeing suspects. Or you can seek support from patrol cruisers when you’re trying to take down multiple suspects at once. Simply open up the Support Menu and call the type of reinforcements that are best suited to contain your current situation.

Arrest Multiple Suspects in The Precinct: Additional Tips

The following tips will ensure that the arresting procedure goes smoothly even when there are multiple suspects involved.
- Always carry lethal and non-lethal weapons to contain situations. Stick to non-lethal in most cases, as long as the suspect doesn’t open fire on you or other innocent bystanders.
- While arresting multiple suspects, it is crucial to read all of them their rights individually. Similarly, you must charge each suspect individually depending on what they did or how they acted during the incident. Charging them with the wrong crimes or forgetting to read them their rights can lead to XP penalties.
- In encounters where you have to chase down multiple suspects, you’ll need to rely heavily on your stamina bar. By default, it will run out quickly when you run at full speed. However, you can and should upgrade your stamina levels using Upgrade Tokens.
- You can sometimes work past your shift timings in the game. So take advantage of this and make sure you process the multiple arrests personally to get maximum XP.
