The snail has a 40% chance of hatching from a bug egg, which makes it easier to get than most of the rare pets in the game. However, the egg itself has a low 3% chance of showing up in the Pet Egg stand. You might have to wait a long time before you see the egg in the shopkeeper’s inventory.
