The Roblox community is abuzz with speculation after David Baszucki hints at a new event. Is an Egg Hunt on the horizon?
Founder and CEO of Roblox, David Baszucki, has started a frenzy among fans after teasing the next event. A photo he shared on his X account on June 6, 2025, has gone viral, and fans are speculating that it is a teaser for a rumored Egg Hunt event. Readers should note that the rumors about the Egg Hunt being brought back by the company have been swirling for ages but have not been confirmed by any credible sources.
In his post, David Baszucki shared a photo of different colored shards. In the caption, the CEO claimed that they will be “honoring the structure of our universe” in the upcoming Roblox event. The post reads:

Fans have been having a field day with David Baszucki’s post. Many are claiming that the photo he shared is a clue for a supposed Egg Hunt event. Here are certain reactions from X:

YouTuber KreekCraft also replied to the Roblox CEO and joked about making a 30-minute video connecting the image to a possible Egg Hunt event. He wrote:

KreekCraft did not stop there. More than an hour after the Roblox CEO shared the image teasing the next event, the YouTuber posted an edited version of the same image. In it, he rearranged the shards in David Baszucki’s image to resemble an egg, further fueling the rumors.

The post has garnered a lot of traction on social media, with Roblox fans speculating about the likelihood of there being an Egg Hunt, considering we already got The Hunt: Mega Edition in March. At this point, hoping for a return to the original Egg Hunt has become a running joke in the community.
Also, this is not the first time this month that KreekCraft has commented about Egg Hunt rumors. On June 2, the YouTuber reacted to a post on X about a suspicious item. He also promised his followers he would drop the “f bomb” on stream if the rumors materialize.
