Sony says the Project Defiant’s digital stick is custom-designed. It features “interchangeable restrictor gates” that will ensure great comfort even during sweaty gameplay sessions.
Sony has put a lot of thought behind the design of the buttons. The Project Defiant controller features eight buttons. What previously used to be bumpers now on the DualSense exist as a normal button, as this design is made for fighting games. The buttons also feature mechanical switches, which is great to hear. This definitely ensures great durability too.
Project Defiant Controller: Compatibility
Sony has confirmed the new Project Defiant controller will be compatible with PlayStation 5 as well as the PC platform. According to Sony, for connectivity, the Project Defiant fight stick controller will feature PS Link wireless technology to minimize input latency. Unfortunately, Sony has not yet announced a price for the Project Defiant controller, and there is no update on the availability either. However, the company states that it looks forward to sharing new details about Project Defiant soon, in the coming months.
