How To Get Armor Plating in Dune Awakening
You can find Armor Plating in Dune Awakening by exploring the various camps, testing stations, or shipwrecks in the game. There are a ton of these scattered all across the map, so you’re unlikely to run short. The camps, in particular, are a consistent way to obtain the item. Open the map and look for the large camps marked by the triple house icon.

Enter the large camps and clear them out. After this, you can explore the camp and loot the various chests and cupboards for the Armor Plating crafting resource. Early on in the game, the amount of Armor Plating you find will be minimal, but the more you progress through the map, the greater the Armor Plating loot drops will be. The Suk Alusus camp, in particular, has a ton of chests with Armor Plating drops.
