Elden Ring Nightreign is an action roguelike that features some of the greatest hits of bosses in past Soulsborne games. While these bosses may seem familiar and retain their past movesets, do not underestimate them. Their HP pool is now larger, and they hit harder than they ever have before. Leonine Misbegotten is one such boss in the game who fits the description.

The Leonine Misbegotten is an overworld boss in Elden Ring Nightreign that works largely the same as he did back in Elden Ring. Overview of the Leonine Misbegotten in Elden Ring Nightreign

As stated earlier, Leonine Misbegotten is an overworld minor boss in Elden Ring Nightreign. From our experience, we’ve found this boss the most across the various camps in the game. Sometimes, you may also run into the boss out in the wild, roaming about the woods. There is no consistent spawn point, but the camps are your best bet if you wish to face the boss.

The boss retains its moveset from Elden Ring but has its HP pool and damage greatly enhanced. If you run into the boss in a camp, you also need to deal with the various foot soldiers accompanying him. In our experience, the camp variant was the hardest, while the one in the forest-like areas was the easiest.

Tips To Easily Defeat Leonine Misbegotten in Elden Ring Nightreign

If you run into the camp variant of this boss, you have to be smart about your approach. We recommend clearing out the camp to avoid getting swarmed by soldiers. Once that’s done, approach the end of the camp to begin the fight.

The boss swings around a greatsword with one hand and often lunges into the air to smash it into the ground. The sword attacks are slow and predictable, but the lunges are fast. We recommend putting a Guardian with a shield as the lead for the battle. The Guardian can tank the attacks while the two teammates deal damage to chip away at the HP.

If you accidentally draw the creature’s attention, it WILL lunge at you. Be prepared to dodge if it starts walking toward you, and try to stay a few feet away, just out of the sword’s range. Deal damage from a distance and use ults when you can to kill the boss.
