If you are familiar with Remembrance quests in Elden Ring Nightreign, you will know that to start one, players need the Journal. This book contains memories and backstories of each Nightfarer. To find it, you must go to the Roundtable Hold. However, in the beginning, you will only have one entry for every Nightfarer. So, you will have to gather Memory Fragments to unlock more entries for the Guardian.

Players can obtain Memory Fragments automatically by completing expeditions and defeating bosses in Elden Ring Nightreign. Once you have enough Memory Fragments, you will be able to start the Guardian’s Remembrance through the Journal. This Nightfarer has four separate Remembrances for you to complete.

First Guardian Remembrance

The first Guardian Remembrance out of the four is probably the shortest. Completing it is not that difficult. However, to do so, you will have to confront an enemy that will challenge your skills. To know more about this Remembrance, follow the instructions below:

  • Talk to the Iron Menial. Exhaust all dialogues to unlock the defeat a Guardian Golem personal objective.
  • Start an expedition and travel to Limveld.
  • Head to the orange marker on the corner of your map.
  • Confront and defeat the Guardian Golem.
  • Return to the Roundtable Hold. Speak to the Iron Menial again.
  • Complete the Remembrance.

The Guardian Golem is a big enemy and also quite strong. So, we highly recommend that you fight it during your second day, so you can be fully prepared. You will get the Stone Stake once you defeat the Golem. After you return it to the Iron Menial and complete the Remembrance, you will get the Stone Stake Relica as the reward.

Second Guardian Remembrance

Unlike the first quest we discussed, the Guardian’s second Remembrance takes place entirely within the confines of the Roundtable Hold. So, you won’t have to travel back to Limveld for this one. To complete this Remembrance, follow the steps given below:

  • Go to the objective marker and speak to the Spectral Merchant named the Visitor.
  • Speak to him twice to obtain the Eerie Charm.
  • After that, return to the central room in the Rountable Hold.
  • The Guardian will then collapse to the ground.
  • Once you wake up, find and kill the Merchant to protect the Guardian’s new flock. Also, take his ledger for a future quest.
  • Complete the Remembrance.

You must note that there is no option to spare the Merchant. You will have to kill him, or the story will come to a halt. Once you have done that, the Remembrance will end, and you will get the Guardian’s Chalice as your reward.

Third Guardian Remembrance

The Guardian’s third Remembrance revolves around the ledger you got from the Spectral Merchant. The Nightfarer believes that this book will lead to more cursed volumes. This journey will take you back to Limveld. To learn more about the objectives in this quest, follow the instructions below:

  • Talk to the Iron Menial and show him the Spectral Merchant’s ledger.
  • Start an expedition and travel to Limveld.
  • There, go towards the orange marker and look for the Demon Merchant.
  • Obtain the Cursed Volume from the Demon Merchant.
  • Return to the Roundtable Hold.
  • Speak to the Iron Menial.
  • Complete the Remembrance.

Surprisingly enough, Libra will appear at the location of your objective. Don’t worry, this time he won’t attack you or drain your health. Instead, you will be able to make a deal with him and get the Cursed Volume for 10,000 Runes. After that, you can either die or finish the expedition you are on. Once you return to the Iron Menial, you will get the Third Volume relic as a reward for completing the Remembrance.

Fourth Guardian Remembrance

The Guardian’s fourth Remembrance takes place within the Roundtable Hold, similar to the second quest. This time, the stakes are higher since you will discover the truth behind the death of the Guardian’s first flock. To learn more about the Nightfarer’s tragic past, follow the steps below:

  • Read the letter the Revenant left on the Rountable Hold.
  • Then, check the shelf in the study room. Read the book there with the silver highlight.
  • Go to the garden and talk to the Recluse.
  • The Recluse will reveal her involvement in the curse that killed the Guardian’s old flock.
  • Decide between punishing and forgiving the Recluse.
  • Complete the Remembrance.

Even if you choose to punish the Recluse, the Guardian will ultimately choose to forgive her. He will express that instead of avenging his fallen flock, he wants to preserve the one he has now. So, the choice is an illusion in this segment. However, once you complete the last Remembrance, you will get the Witcher’s Brooch relic and the Guardian’s Remembrance outfit as rewards.

Lastly, completing all Remembrances will give the Guardian an extended ending scene with the final boss. So, that is the end of our Guardian Remembrance guide.
