Funcom’s latest MMO, Dune Awakening, is currently out on early access, and players have flocked to the game. The game peaked at over 100,000 players, which caused some severe server problems. The early access period started with a limited number of Worlds and Sietches, and players saw really long queue times just hours after the launch. As such, developer Funcom has decided on a server maintenance downtime to hopefully address some of these issues.
Dune Awakening servers are currently down for maintenance from 8:00 AM UTC, and it is expected to be back in around two hours, at 10:00 AM UTC. When Will Dune Awakening Servers Be Back After Maintenance Downtime Today (June 8)?
Dune Awakening servers are expected to be back online after maintenance at 10:00 AM UTC on June 8, 2025. Servers are already down for maintenance from 8:00 AM UTC. An in-game notification alerted all players regarding the same. During this downtime, all official Dune Awakening servers will be offline, and you will not be able to play the game. You might come across several errors, like the Failed To Join Server and others, if you try to log in during this interval.
On the other hand, Dune Awakening Private Servers are not likely to be affected by this downtime. These servers are maintained by third-party vendors, and all maintenance is going to be from their end.
