Some merchants can be straightforward, while others require a bit more persuasion by beating them in combat.

Where Can You Find Papasso in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?
As the surviving members of Expedition 33 work their way to the Monolith, they can take a few pit stops in between. Verso is familiar with the landscape after living there for decades, and the party can move faster while riding on Esquie to meet new merchants.
In the case of Papasso, you can find them on an island north of the Floating Cemetery. You can spot the Gestral Merchant standing still in the middle of some orange trees. Approach the merchant and browse through their inventory to see if they have anything you may want or need for the journey ahead.

If you are planning to spend your hard-earned Chroma on powerful items or upgrade materials, Papasso will let you down in this regard. This Gestral Merchant exclusively sells alternate hairstyles for members of Expedition 33. Each item costs 3,000 Chroma, and you will need a grand total of 12,000 Chroma to buy them all in one transaction.
Similar to alternate outfits, these hairstyles do not provide your party with any gameplay benefits. It is purely for aesthetics and will be much more appreciated in cutscenes. It may not be useful in combat, but it can give your characters new looks as they explore the Continent.
